Full-time. - Displays, prepares and provides reports including, however not limited to, Medical Record Delinquency Rates, Medical Pertinence, H & P Compliance, Operative Note Compliance
- Develops and delivers education to horizontal and vertical audiences on coding and charge capture.
EDUCATION:
- AHIMA or AAPC Qualifications
- Associates degree in appropriate field chosen or mix of equivalent of education and experience
EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS:
- 2 years related experience.
- Must be detail oriented and have the capability to work independently
- Computer understanding of MS Office
- Substantial knowledge of medical record documentation requirements mandated by Medical Staff Bylaws, Guidelines and Regulations
- State and federal policies concerning client confidentiality
- Exceptional verbal/written interaction and social skills
- Thorough/detailed knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding systems
- Competent in developing and writing analytical reports
- Proficient in performing quality assessment/analysis
- Need to show outstanding interpersonal skills
- Understanding of illness pathophysiology and drug utilization
- Knowledge of MSDRG classification and compensation structures
- Knowledge of APC, OCE, NCCI classification and repayment structures
