Supplies management for the clinical coding, coding compliance, abstracting, documentation improvement
programs and billing management. Functions carefully with Director, HIM management, physicians, business
services, RAC organizer and care management to carry out the strategic instructions and goals and goals
for the coding, coding compliance and documents enhancement programs. May carry out other tasks as
designated.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION: High School or comparable.
ACCREDITATION: Licensed Coding Expert (CCS) or ICD-10 AHIMA Qualified Trainer
EXPERIENCE: 3 years HIM management experience in a large health care facility and five years
inpatient coding experience.
Preferred Certifications:
EDUCATION: Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree
ACCREDITATION: Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) or Registered Health Details
Administrator (RHIA).
