Lead Reimbursement Expert- Medical Billing, Mental Health and Drug Abuse

Responsibilities Include:

– Displays workflow and group efficiency

– Responsible for personnel training and assignment of tasks

– Directs work of employees in the group to fulfill quality and timeliness

– Professionally and successfully communicate with team of internal billing staff, clients (county behavioral health professional firms, psychological health/substance use therapists, and so on), insurance provider and federal government company personnel

– Register patients and maintain patient group information entry, navigating several interfacing electronic health record and billing systems

– Maintain work line and handle personal workflow, meeting priorities and required due dates

– Expense services/claims

– Work mistakes, rejections, corrections

– Display for information quality

– Run reports to reconcile monthly billing cycle

– Follow up on unpaid claims

– Go to conferences and trainings internally with team, with clients, and with county behavioral health department personnel.

Credentials/ Skills:

– Progressively accountable experience in billing and follow-up preferred

– Experience and/or educational background in the healthcare field or medical office environment may be thought about (front workplace, back workplace, scheduling, medical assistant, declares processing, collections, etc.). Direct experience in 3rd celebration claims (Medicare, Medi-Cal, Private Insurance coverages) billing and follow-up a plus.

– Market experience in behavioral health, autism/developmental specials needs, or substance abuse treatment environments a plus

– Data entry abilities

– Familiarity browsing different computer system systems required, ideally electronic health/medical records

– Typically used systems/programs/portals: Microsoft Office, Sharepoint, Ebridge file managment, Unicare/Profiler, Netsmart/Avatar, Foothold/Awards, Askesis/Provider, Change Healthcare, Office Ally, Noridian, CAQH, PAVE, NPPES

Compensation:
